Configuration
See "Recall, Record" and "Recall, Control" for details on how to configure recall.
Use cases
Case 1: ECPIR-3P and ECPIR-P
Recall record on one button with start on press action and stop on release action. Recall control on another button with toggle and no zones.
This will allow the recording of one message by pressing and holding the "Recall record" button first. Releasing the "Recall record" button will end the recording and the operator can then listen to the message to verify the content. The operator can then decide to either dispatch the message by pressing the "Recall control" button or to re-record the message by pressing and holding the "Recall record" button. As no zones are selected in recall control the dynamically selected zones will be used.
Case 2: Direct dispatch on DAK
Recall record with start on press action and recall control on release action.
With these settings the operator will record the message when the button is pressed and then automatically dispatch the message when the button is released. These settings are usefull in noisy areas or areas where there are a high probablity of feedback.
Case 3: Direct dispatch on control input
Recall can also be used to integrate with another analoge system. In these cases the "Recall record" can be assigned to a on action for the control input and the "Recall control" can be assigned to the off action. Assigning the correct audio input to the functions will allow an analoge system to send messages out on the Exigo system directly.
This is in particular useful for older PABXs where phones or intercoms are placed in many areas with PA speakers.
