Firewall

This article describes the firewall/filter settings needed for the Exigo System.
There might be different needs for different system setups.
These settings are the minimum required to get the system to work.

Firewall Settings

On the Primary System Controller (AMC-IP board) the minimum filters have to be enabled for Eth1:

Protocol Port
ZAP (Zenitel Application Protocol) TCP-50004
NTP server UDP-123
VoIP Audio UDP-61000:61150
IP Stations TCP-50001
HTTP TCP-80

For AlphaCom/SIP integration:

Protocol Port
SIP UDP-5060

Adjusting firewall settings for the Primary System Controller is done in EMT:

  • Go to System > Default Firewall Setting
EMT - Default Firewall Setting

Setup Wizard

During the creation of a new database it is possible to open up for SNMP traffic in the system.

Setup wizard - SNMP

Enabling SNMP can be done on the last page of the wizard.

Default Firewall Setting

The default firewall settings for all endpoints can be changed in EMT.

  • Go to System > Default Firewall Setting
Default Firewall Setting

Select the desired firewall/port.
This settings will then be the default for all devices.

VoIP ports

By default the number of VoIP ports is set to 61000:61150.
In some rare cases this may be insufficient.
For more information see this article.

Individual Settings

It is possible to set individual firewall settings for each device (not recommended).

  • In the device tree go to the desired Device > Network Interface > Firewall
Individual Firewall Setting

To change firewall settings:

  • Select the desired firewall/port and uncheck the Use System Setting checkbox
