Line Measurement is used for the manual control of line monitoring of the system. Manual line monitoring can be set on each channel of the amplifier.
When line monitoring is set to manual, this function will, based on zone selection, enable line measurement for at least 5 minutes. During this period, the line will be measured against previous calibrations.
To calibrate for the first time, the Activation parameter must be set to Start. This will initiate the process for the channels to be calibrated. Typically, there will be an input on a rack device that should be enabled. Under such a measurement, all COs configured with Line Measurement will be toggled in the selected zones. For example, these can be used to turn off volume controllers.

  • Drag-and-drop: Input Actions -> Line Measurement to:

Line Measurement settings

Activation Start, Stop or Toggle the Line Measurement. It is recommended to use either Toggle or Start. The measurement will take 5 minutes.

Destination The zones in which Line Measurement will be activated. In such zones, all audio channels set to Manual will start to verify and report faults if any.

Priority The priority of the broadcast. Checking the Replace box will make this broadcast replace other broadcast with the same priority. If the box is not checked, the same priority will be shown as busy.

Enable Timeout This decides whether the function will timeout or not.

Timeout The amount of time in seconds that the Line Measurement will be active.
