This article explains how to start alarm from AlphaCom on a Exigo A-B system.
Guide on how to set up the redundant AlphaCom integration can be found here.

Starting an alarm from AlphaCom to a redundant Exigo system is done by starting a group call in AlphaCom that starts the Alarm Generator in both Exigo A and B controller.

EMT Configuration

  • Configure two identical Action Calls with different directory numbers (for example 98001 and 98002).
EMT configuration - Action Calls

AlphaPro Configuration

  • Set up the redundant AlphaCom integration following this guide.
  • Set up 2 different DirNo numbers (same numbers as used in EMT (98001 and 98002)) as SIP stations related to PSC A and PSC B trunk:

98001 Setup:

AlphaPro configuration

Notice the related to trunk.

98002 Setup:

AlphaPro configuration

Notice the related to trunk.

  • Make a group and add both dir numbers (98001 and 98002) to the group to be able to call both at the same time from a station:
AlphaPro configuration - group

  • Add both dir numbers (98001 and 98002) to the group:
AlphaPro configuration - group

  • Now program a DAK to call that group – in this case dir 85 – and this will start the alarm in both Exigo A and B.

These two Action Calls will now be started by the group call from AlphaCom.
