This Vingtor-Stentofon IP speaker features a 10W Class D am plifier, utilizing all the power that PoE is c apable of. This m eans that the speaker is c apable of delivering m ore than 100dB, depending on the signal input. With IP, the system is able to m onitor and address eac h speaker individually. By m oving the am plifier from a c entral unit out to the speaker itself, the need for a c entral am plifier unit with c onventional speaker loops is elim inated. This m akes the system highly sc alable, and adding another speaker is easy to do. Even though c onventional speaker loops are not used, the speakers c an still be divided into groups. These zones c an now extend over networks or span the Internet. To provide m axim um availability, the speaker c om es with advanc ed supervision func tions. The speaker line test will detec t whether there are any faults in the network or speaker elec tronic s. The status of the speaker is reported to the c entral unit as well as to 3rd-party m anagem ent system s using S NMP or S yslog. The speaker has a built-in web interfac e for status inform ation, c ontrol, and upgrade. It is easy to install and m aintain and all broadc asts c an be logged in detailed reports.
