New Features

IP-LCM support in Alphacom / Pulse / SIP

IP-LCM is now supported in Exigo systems. This device have:
  • 8 robust high power relays
  • 8 robust inputs
  • Powered via the TKIS-2 kit with PoE, PoE inject or external power supply
  • All connections and features from the TKIS-2 kit available

Exigo systems can now be integrated with Pulse systems

Using the SIP interface on Exigo systems allows for integration both ways to pulse systems

EMT - Scan IP range for devices now available

New tool in Operation view to scan an IP range for Exigo devices. From the list of discovered devices it is possible to send a command to the device to make the fault led blink (works for ENA, Access Panel and SSC devices).
By default, the fault led will blink 4 times, 2 blinks pr second. The number of blinks and blink rate can be changed in Options -> Configuration Options.
From the list of discovered devices it is also possible to open the device's Web Configuration page in the default browser.

SNMP traps are now supported by all Exigo devices

SNMP traps for faults are now supported by all Exigo devices. Configuration is done via EMT.

Exigo now supports distributed automatic volume controllers

Distributed Automatic Volume Controllers (dAVC) is TKIS-2 kits which measures background noise in an area and can adjust the volume settings for an amplifier or IP speaker so that the audio is audible above the noise.
  • DAVC devices is monitored as other devices in the Exigo system.
  • Zones with dAVC devices can have "volume override" functionality. Activities with priorities above this threshold will use full volume efficiently ignore background noise adjustments.
  • DAVC Control of zone can be based on: highest, average or average mid. Both average require at least four dAVC devices.
  • Disable AVC function can be used to selectively disable dAVC functionality per zone.
  • Adjustment mode can be positive or negative between two thresholds.
  • Advanced options where attack rate, decay rate, hysteresis and lock out time are available

ENA2100-AC is now supported in Exigo systems

  • Advanced line monitoring and Lets supported
  • Hardware audio bypass supported
  • 2 control outputs with 200mA@24Vdc each
  • 2 control inputs
  • Supported in Exigo mode and Alphacom systems

New ZAP rpcs available for remote integration

  • Restart of Class-D module
  • Identification of devices by toggling fault led
  • Remote toggling of control outputs

Audio bypass is now supported on all Exigo devices

Bypass will route audio directly from the line input to both audio output channels based on the following configuration choices:
  • Always on: This allows the amplifier to operate standalone mode without ESC1 or Alphacom
  • Idle: This allows the amplifier to have bypass activated when no digital audio is present.
  • No connection: This allows the amplifier to activate bypass if it loose connection to ESC1 or Alphacom
  • Always off: This is default for Exigo amplifiers and audio bypass will never be activated
ENA2100-AC: Hardware bypass available for instant forwarding
ENA2200, ENA2400-DC, ENA2400-AC: Audio bypass available after software is up

Zone select can now deselect when activities are started or stopped

This gives more options to how zone select should behave in relation to activities started from the access panels

Adjustable delay of missing devices

It is now possible on a per device level to adjust a delay before the device is reported missing. Default is 0 seconds of delay before the device is reported missing.

Bugfixes and improvements

Detailed channel state in SNMP MIB

Detailed information about the actual state of the audio channel is now included in the SNMP MIB.

Access panels part of zones can now correctly receive messages, alarms and live speech

EMT - Database will handle Exigo Net system ID settings better

EMT - An error window without effect would sometimes appear when changing the name of a zone

EMT - Actions can now be copied to paired devices successfully

Headphone output on ENA2200 and ENA2400 will now not be active unless activated from the GUI

Improved handling of audio streams on amplifiers

EMT - "Always include" field removed from local mute action

AMC-IP will now correctly remove Exigo settings immediatly after a factory default

EMT - Password for PSC can now be changed

EMT - Advanced program control sequence can now be correctly copy/pasted

TKIE-2 relay 2 can now be configured correctly without rebooting the device

Program volume control function can now use dynamically selected zones

EMT - PSC will now reboot correctly if changes to the SIP interface is done

A manual reboot was necessary for any changes to be enabled and this will happen automatically now.

EMT - Tooltip for zone selection is now correct

EMT - EMT can now correclty generate a database directly from a GET when controller B is missing

EMT - Zone names with illegal characters will now not be allowed

Incoming SIP Calls will now be correctly parsed

Sometimes the source nummer of an incoming SIP call would add a digit

EMT - Name of zone will now always save when the done button is pressed

EMT - Improvements to zone handling when an access panel is added to the zone

Voice activity detection can now be used on EX panels to automatically trigger actions

EMT - Getting a database from a running system will now correctly get any volume adjustments done to the Exigo amplifiers

EMT - Databases made with EMT 1.4 will now correctly set "use global settings" for SNMP on all devices

Control outputs can now be correctly reconfigured from fault indication to audio activity without rebooting the device

Volume control normalized for IP speakers and Exigo amplifiers

Adjusting volume in zones with volume controls will now result in the same volume reduction for both IP speakers and Exigo amplifiers

Various typos fixed in fault message for ESC1 GUI

EMT - Volume settings are now availabile on all devices

EMT - Exigo 1.2 Databases can now be opened in EMT 1.4 and newer

EMT - Parallel wired devices will now be correctly configured

ESC1 - All latin letters including æøå supported in GUI

Exigo database is now completely deleted from AMC-IP board during a factory default

ESC1 - Internal network recovery mechanisms added

In some installations glitches could occur which would disable the network interface until a reboot. Recovery mechanisms have been added to ensure the continuing operation of the network interface in such cases.

EMT - Volume Override Priority was not corectly fetched from the PSC with a GET operation

Programs will now merge correctly regardless of how Zone Selection is set up

Live speech will now always start correctly after a "rejected" call

(1.3.3.1) If a call was rejected the operator would have to press twice on the live speech button to set up a new call. This is now fixed.

Recall is now correctly timing out if timeout is used

EMT - Clear all activity will now not have destination field if "all" is selected

EMT - Adding an amplifier to more than one zone will now always generate a "multiple zones" warning

Live speech with "wait for PTT" and no dynamic zones selected will now not light the green led

Non-existing power sources reported as faulty

ECPIR volume settings can now be adjusted even if the access panel is not connected to a server

Call escalation with no zones selected will now correctly be ignored instead of crashing the access panel

Exigo devices will now listen to the same NTP server if more than one is configured

(Bug 1.3.3.1) Dummy zones which does not contain devices can now be correctly called again

EMT - Keys on main panel will sort first for devices which use EMBDR-8

EMT - Zones could loose name if "done" was not pressed

The list of possible faults on the Exigo wiki is now updated

Fault Indication System Message

EMT - Volume settings for access panels available

EMT will automatically reset AMC-IP when new SIP devices have been added

Exigo Amplifier web pages and SNMP text normalized

It is now possible to configure which call states that follow alarm should operate in

Volume adjustment function now blink green one time to indicate a change and red if limit is met

EMT now shows version in window name

Increased system capacity

Exigo now supports up to 16 simultanious audio activities.

SIP advance integration: Call id

Exigo will now strip all non-numeric characters from SIP calls

The Configure Stations menu on the AMC-IP web is now disabled in Exigo Mode

Known issues

Fault indication - It is possible to change from "or" to "and" between fields, but not inside one field

Tick tone will not be played out on access panels which is part of a zone

SIP devices for integration can only have directory numbers with numbers. Alphanumeric numbers are not supported

The same fault ID can not be used on different buttons on an access panel - This will result in wrong LED behavior

Flowire - For turning of monitoring of Flowire devices completely a full chilly restart must be done

EMT - Only one dialog box can be open if more than one EMT version is open

Access panel set in HD-mode with MB30G will not work correctly and audio might be corrupted

All access panels are now default set to Voice mode to prevent errors.
